Restore Files in Quarantine in Symantec Endpoint Protection [Windows]

Restoring files that are in quarantine

•  Open Symantec Endpoint Protection by double clicking the 'Shield' icon  located in the right hand bottom corner of your computer screen

•  Click the 'Quarantine' tab. It is located on the left side of the Symantec Endpoint Protection window

•  Select the latest NextVIEW installation file (Example: nv6616.exe or AdvisorXs9319.exe) and click 'Restore' to restore it. (File restored will appear in your earlier download location)

•  Click Yes on the confirmation window

•  Exit the Norton AntiVirus program and you can install NextVIEW Advisor from your download location.

Restoring files that are in quarantine

•  Open Norton AntiVirus by double clicking the 'Bio Shield' icon  located in the right hand bottom corner of your computer screen (task tray near the date & time)

•  Click the big Advance button (You might need close the Norton Management page if you can't see a 4 big icon Secure, Scan Now, LiveUpdate and Advanced).

•  Click on 'Quarantine' on Computer Protection segment.

•  Select the latest NextVIEW installation file (Example: nv6616.exe or AdvisorXs9319.exe) and click 'Restore' to restore it. (File restored will appear in your earlier download location)

•  Click Yes on the confirmation window

•  Exit the Norton AntiVirus program and you can install NextVIEW Advisor from your download location.
